Little Moments

Fragments of a Healing Journey

A collection of quiet thoughts and honest fragments from the spaces between living and feeling.

Every emotion has a shape of its own. Some are sharp, some are soft, some arrive quietly and sit beside us until we understand them. Writing gives each feeling a place to rest.

Here, fragments of healing unfold slowly. Stories breathe. Quiet reflections settle into place. And every line becomes a reminder that you’re not alone in the things you hold.

Words That Find You When Silence Grows Heavy – Excerpt

“If you cannot find what you’re searching for, my son, just think of the bird.
It didn’t need a nest—only a branch.
It would have built a new home on its own, if not on that cherry tree, then on the next one… or the one after that.
And it wouldn’t have mourned for long, because it knew:
once it rises and spreads its wings,
it becomes exactly what it was meant to be.”

Minimal illustration of an open birdcage with a bird flying free, symbolizing emotional release and inner freedom through writing.

When the Hidden Feelings Finally Surface

With trembling hands I clutched the pillow and screamed until exhaustion took over —
until no sound came out anymore, only silent gasps.

Until now, I didn’t even know they existed.
I didn’t know it was possible to suppress thirty years’ worth of emotions this deeply.

A Letter to Myself, When the Light Returns

Dear Me,
You golden-hued eternal rose — that is who you are.
Radiant already, even if you do not yet know it.
You would laugh if the certainty already lived in you:
that everything is alright…
That you may exist.
You may live. You may rejoice. You may laugh.
You may say no, and you may say yes.

You may even change your mind along the way.
Everything is allowed. You are free.
Independet of everything, and one with all that is.
You will arrive. Do not hurry.
You are already here with me.
Everything is alright.
She folded the letter, kissed it,
and tucked it among the petals of the roses…

BALANCE. DECISIONS. SELF-SURRENDER.

Bowing to Life – excerpt

She never said no — far too often she said yes.
She smiled when she would have rather cried.
She stayed silent when she longed to scream.
She didn’t listen to herself, even though something inside kept warning her that things were not alright.
But she chose just in time.
She finally stepped left instead of right,
and bowed her head to life — at last.

Letter to the Last Century – excerpt

Anna stared at the photograph, at the unhappy faces frozen within it.
What happened to you? What is it you never told me?
She picked up the ballpoint pen that had slipped between the threads.
“What should I even ask you?
Perhaps this: What happened to you? To all of you.
What story did you carry away with you in silence?
From how far do these suppressed tears arrive—
the ones whose drops continue their path on my own face?”

Close-up of a fountain pen resting on handwritten letter, symbolizing introspection, memory, and personal storytelling.
